Great condition, excelent case, nice price. Not to be confused with the Xeno YBL-822, this is the original version. Build quality and materials are some of the best I've seen. The red brass alloy of the bell flare appears to be the same but has thicker walls, allowing for the typically heavy engraving in the more conventional position. This one was made in 1973 and is a single owner instrument. The Peabody Conservatory Trombone Department faculty is made up of four current or former members of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, who offer the prospective student a unique blend of influences: James Olin studied at Northwestern University in Chicago with Frank Crisafulli, David Fetter studied at the Eastman School with Emory Remington, and Randall Campora studied at Florida State University with William Cramer.
